Text Box: Hundreds of hours of research and development have lead to the invention of our patent pending WordsUp! Learning System. In addition to speaking with experts in the field of education and special education, numerous interviews were held with classroom teachers, parents and children to identify and understand their needs. Home and classroom trials of our patent pending learning process were also conducted. Below is a list of available resources used in our research. The vast majority of the quotes and references shared in this web site regarding reading skills development, curriculum and the level of early reading skills in America come directly from these resources. If you seek a greater understanding of reading skills development and the important role sight word fluency plays in accomplished reading, begin with Starting Out Right.
